Baked Gujiya


For the Filling:

  • 1 ¼ tbsp Ghee
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Almonds
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Pistachio
  • ½ cup Good Graze Coconut Sugar
  • ¾ cup Good Graze Desiccated Coconut
  • For the dough:
  • ¾ cup maida or wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • For the brushing:
  • 1 tbsp Good Graze coconut sugar
  • ¼ cup milk


  • In a pan, add the ghee and the dry fruits and fry then till slight golden brown
  • Add the coconut sugar and once it melts add the water
  • Cook for a few seconds and then add the desiccated coconut
  • Cook till the water evaporates and set aside
  • For the dough, add flour and ghee and milk and form it into a dough. Rest for 15-20 mins
  • Now take small rounds and roll it out and cut with a circular bowl and fold in any style you like
  • Place on a baking tray and give it a milk + sugar wash and bake for 20-25 mins or till golden brown at 170 degrees
